Gorilla

It's incredibly sad to say that the gorilla is an endangered species, but they are. Hard to believe that they were only discovered in 1902 and that the DNA of gorillas is 97%  identical to humans.  http://gorillafund.org

  1. This painting is astounding... and informative. 1902?! Is that true? Imagine all the other species out there that we have no idea about.

  3. Gorgeous! You did a phenomenal job!
Hopefully the gorilla will get the respect they deserve soon, before they are completely wiped out!

  4. Thank you Pauline. Sometimes I wish that they were still an undiscovered species hiding out someplace safe.

  5. Now that is beautiful. Your skills just jump by leaps and bounds each time I see your stuff. We need to talk about doing me a pencil drawing for my 'Cave of Cool' collection. That picture should be part of some auction somewhere to support the cause of Gorilla preservation. If they could I am sure they would hug you for that.

  6. Thanks Calvin! That's very nice of you to say. Screw the pencil drawing...I'll be glad to paint up something for the Cave of Cool collection.
