Crime Noir

Here's my homage to the hard boiled crime noir/pulp fiction covers. I apologize for the crappy resolution. Whenever I get a new camera I'll re-take some of the images on my blog. This painting was inspired by the great Glen Orbik. Masonite board 12"x16"
Edited to add: I created a mock mystery novel cover for the painting.

"Who ate all the Pecan Sandies?"

Here's a real quick painting of Roger from American Dad. He's my favorite character from the show...I may do a series of these featuring Roger in his various disguises. This took about an hour or so. 9"x12"

Snow girl

I finally had the opportunity to use a palette knife to create the mountains in the background. I wish I could paint better backgrounds...but I find painting people more interesting (which is ironic, since I'm not a "people" person) and I'm also lazy. Canvas paper 12"x15".
